Are you expecting a baby any day now? If you can hold on for a couple more days, Ally Bank is offering an incentive. The online bank is looking out for newborns who arrive on New Year’s Eve by giving them a financial head start. They’re offering $250 to babies born on December 31st, 2020.
“You should know that a lot will be said about your birth year, and much of it will be pretty tough to hear,” Ally explains to the New Year’s Eve babies in a statement. “But through it all, there also have been unprecedented awakenings, acknowledgements and opportunities for our human family to come together with a purpose and be better. Best of all, it’s you – and everyone born each day – who provide us with a reason to be hopeful.”
Ally understands moms and dads will have their hands full when their bundle of joy arrives, so they’re giving them lots of time to cash in on the offer. Parents have more than six months to enroll for the special welcome gift, they don’t have to sign up until July 31st, 2021. And then they’ll get $250 in a custodial Online Savings Account. Not a bad way to start out in life!
