Indiana women’s basketball had little trouble rolling to a 76-60 win over Nebraska Sunday at Simon Skodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Ind. The Hoosiers (14-7, 6-4 B1G) led by at least eight points for the final 27:50 of the game and only briefly trailed the Huskers (16-6, 7-4 B1G). IU converted 17 Husker turnovers into 15 points, while NU forced just eight turnovers, which it converted into seven points. Indiana shot 43 percent from behind the arc (13-for-30), while Nebraska shot just 3-for-11 from the perimeter.
Petra Bozan led the Huskers with 12 points, but fouled out of the game after playing just 14 minutes. Amiah Hargrove added 11 points, while Britt Prince scored 10 points. The Hoosiers were led by Yarden Gorzon, who scored 19 points on 5-for-11 shooting from three-point range. Chloe Moore-McNeil tallied 15 points including four three-pointers, along with seven rebounds and seven assists. Karoline Striplin scored 13 points while Sydney Parish contributed 11 points for IU.
Indiana led 19-15 after one quarter, extended the lead to 36-24 at halftime, and stretched it farther to 57-41 through three quarters.
